Repeated visits to the Broome Park Circle have paid off for CLE Frank and his LA Heat. Tonight he made two flights and fell just a bit short on the first flight for a full pattern with the engine threatening to quit on the clover. The inboard went down first and then about 3 laps later the outboard. CLE Frank says that is it for the night and Wannabe me says fuel it up again! So the airplane gets fueled and fires up quickly. I set the watch after firing the first engine and then fire the second up. Needles were good from the flight before, so they were left alone. CLE Frank took off and shorted the level flight a little bit and went into the wingover. All of the remaining pattern was done without issue and the airplane was back on the ground in 6:52. Plenty of time to do those first laps. It was quite a sight to see. To top off the flight, both engines quit within 1/4 lap of each other. My prediction is that you will see this airplane start making full officials at a contest near you soon. John
