Everyone,
I managed to sneak in a couple of flights this morning with the Electric Skywriter. The winds were calm and the area in my immediate back yard was dry enough to accommodate my 41'x.008" lines that I like to fly the airplane on. Sometimes I think flying electric is like cheating as you can fly close to home and there is no mess or much support equipment to deal with, just press the button and fly. My wife is a little rusty at hand launching but we were able to get two up without turfing a takeoff. Just poked around in the sky with lots of loops and 8s.

I guess that would wrap it up for 2016. Flying this airplane made me think of Frank Carlisle since it is one he gave me "to build for him". I still have another that we were talking about building as a take apart to follow me around the world and fly where ever work takes me. Still plan on doing this but will explore a more powerful package as this one seems to be right at the edge for performance.
John
